Prioritizing Working Class Americans
For too long we have been measuring our nations success by the all time highs of the stock market and corporate profits that primarily benefits the smallest socioeconomic group in this country. This nation was founded on the sweat and hard work of working class Americans. It is time to elect government officials who will represent the majority of the people rather than ONLY representing those few who own the majority of this nations wealth.
Foreign Relations
Over the last few years we have suffered an immeasurable loss of global respect and trust from our friends, allies, and partners. Our national security and pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness depends on protecting our hard work and progress over the last two centuries in living out the true meaning of what many of our founding fathers envisioned for this great nation.
Access to Affordable Housing and Healthcare
While government housing and universal healthcare is not needed by most Americans, for those in desperate need and are working to lift their families from poverty, emergency medical care and affordable housing must be a fundamental right. We will look for creative ways to ensure no one in need is left behind in this country.
Climate Action
Climate change is NOT a hoax. Our future depends on the actions we take today. We are dedicated to aggressive emissions reductions and to a sustainable energy transition. Our national security depends both on protecting our natural resources and towards ensuring we have abundant energy and are energy independent.
Education Equity
We are committed to ensuring every student has access to high-quality public education and the tools to succeed in a global economy. Reading, Writing and Arithmetic is the foundation. While computers and other technology is a must in this age, returning to pencil and paper style learning in elementary and middle school is necessary for developing analytical and critical thinking members of our society.
Artificial IntelligenceÂ
Like atomic energy, artificial intelligence is an extremely powerful tool. But, like all tools created by mankind, we must use extreme care to ensure this tool is used to benefit humanity... and to NOT enslave or destroy it. The worst of humankind exposes itself every time humans abandon their morality, integrity, empathy, and kindness for the sake of achievement. All of which are characteristics of humanity that artificial intelligence can never achieve or be "willing" adhere to.
